Passing on someone else’s piece inspired me to create iterations of my own
“reproductions,” allowing me to take risks in modalities and designs. It also
gave way to deep vulnerability, repurposing, and a fuller trash can! But here
we are.
I recently retired from teaching after 25 years and came to understand that
most of my creative energy was channelled into that craft. Now, I dabble in
areas and mediums I, previously, struggled to enjoy, muchless, become silent
enough to listen to it’s desire. Sitting quietly, still, used to be a form of
punishment unless scheduled. Now, I love listening to birds sing and get lost in
the unfolding of life.
Please enjoy the whimsy, silly, and simplicity of each piece!
